polysubstance abuse involves the misuse of multiple drugs at one time. People use more than one drug to enhance the effects of this substance, that helps stifle side effects or help people deal with withdrawal or come-down. Marijuana and alcohol are two most commonly used drugs which are used in coincidence with other drugs, but some people may abuse the multiple drugs in several other ways.

Every individual drug causes a unique or different symptom to the user. When it stimulants, the individual feel anxiety, when an individual comes out of stimulants, they feel sleepiness. Consuming polysubstance abuse has worse side-effect than that are with the abuse of the single drug. Although people are abusing more than one drug to attempt control withdrawal of side-effects and symptoms, it eventually tolls the human body and causes severe effects.

The withdrawal process of multiple drugs is unpleasant, dangerous and even painful. Polysubstanceabuse can have the worst effects and symptoms when a person stops consuming multiple drugs the withdrawal symptoms can be more deadly. Drugs like alcohol and benzodiazepines cause fatal symptoms, and various other drugs can make the condition severely unpleasant for the users.
